    1. Mates That Matter does not tolerate any bullying or form of disrespect, for example; No

      1. Cyber bullying

      2. Verbal bullying

      3. Excluding others

      4. Physical bullying e.g. violence

      5. Intimidation & belittling

      6. Talking behind others backs

      7. Bringing others down

      8. Making people feel uncomfortable

      9. Disrespect to others beliefs, cultures, appearances, backgrounds, sexuality, family, partners, differences

      10. Inappropriate (rude or foul) language 

      11. Discrimination

 

  1. Be safe

    1. Mates That Matter does not tolerate unsafe behaviours, for example; No

      1. Making others feel unsafe & uncomfortable

      2. Activities that put yourself or others at risk

      3. Invasions of other’s privacy

 

  1. Be here for the right reasons

    1. Mates That Matter does not tolerate members who are here for the wrong reasons, for example;

      1. Mates That Matter is a service aimed at establishing long term friendships, not relationships.

      2. Mates That Matter does not tolerate talking about other member’s girlfriends or close female friends.

    1. Mates That Matter is a service aimed at helping others create long term friendships, this means;

      1. Be friendly

      2. Be kind

      3. Listen to others

      4. Be respectful of others differences

      5. Be safe

      6. Be here for the right reasons

      7. Be honest

      8. Be thoughtful of other members and their feelings

      9. Be patient

      10. Be yourself

      11. Have fun
